2. Take the kids to grandpa and grandma’s. They get to enjoy time with their beloved grandchildren, your children get to take a break from their normal routine and you get a peaceful house all to yourself which is a win –win for everyone involved.
3.Treat yourself to a spa treatment. There is nothing as relaxing as getting yourself pampered with deep tissue massages, facials, exfoliating treatments and many others. If you are a bit strapped for cash, you can also indulge in several home spa treatments such as a scalp massage, hair deep conditioning, an aromatherapy bath and many others.
4. Wine and dine. Take the time to prepare a nice meal for you and your partner (if you have one) to enjoy. Uncork the good wine and enjoy a glass or two of your favorite beverage. If cooking on a free weekend does not appeal to you, then book a table at your favorite restaurant and order your favorite meal.
There are several things you can do to ensure you have a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Switching off your mobile phone and logging off social media as well as taking your kids to their grandparents and scheduling a spa treatment are just a few of these.
